Elena Bennett

Elena Bennett is a managing director in the Wells Fargo Commercial Real Estate’s Homebuilder Banking Group. Based in Irvine, California, she delivers banking services to both publicly traded homebuilders and a select group of larger, regionally focused private homebuilders headquartered across North America. Elena’s career has spanned more than 30 years in the financial services industry with the majority of her time spent in real estate finance.
Elena joined Wells Fargo in 2004 to lead the West Coast homebuilding expansion for its predecessor, Wachovia Bank. She has held a variety of banking and investment banking positions with national and money center banks focused on real estate lending and capital raising in the western U.S., including Bank of America and Bank One.
Elena received her B.A. in economics from the University of California at Los Angeles.
Active in the community, Elena is currently a board member of HomeAid America, a founding member of Women’s Housing Leadership Group, a member of the Building Industry Association, and active in the Presbyterian Church, U.S.A.
Elena and her husband John live in Aliso Viejo, California, and have two adult children living in Seattle, Washington
