Carrie Schonberg is Chief Marketing Officer at Ashton Woods, the nation’s largest private homebuilder and 2023 Builder of the Year. During her ten-plus year tenure with the company she launched the Ashton Woods and Starlight Homes brands, winning countless industry awards while contributing to the company’s explosive growth from $300 Million in revenue to over $3.5 Billion.  A heart-led leader and career-long marketer, her greatest career joy is building a team of brilliant marketers, each with their own unique superpowers, and creating a culture that allows them to thrive… one in which vulnerability is encouraged and there are no limits to what they can achieve together.

Before joining Ashton Woods, Carrie spent close to a decade at Eastman Kodak, initially marketing film, then launching and running Kodak’s e-commerce operation at She later led Marketing and Business Development, working with retail partners including Walmart, Target, Best Buy, Staples and Amazon.  Prior to Kodak, Carrie worked in sports marketing at IMG.  Carrie holds a BA and MBA from Emory University. In 2018 she was named to the Marketing Hall of Femme, which honors female marketing leaders who have taken risks, pushed limits and achieved standout success in their marketing careers, and in 2023 she was named a “Market Like a Mother” Best Working Mom in Marketing.
